Description
Designed with winter climbing in mind, our Flatiron Parka is specced with enough thoughtful tech to keep you dry and comfortable, especially when the wall is anything but! The outer shell is made from our 12-denier Ballistic Airlight nylon ripstop, and has undergone a DWR treatment to help prevent water ingress. But even if you do get soaked through, there’s no need to worry, as we’ve insulated the jacket with synthetic EXCELOFT which will continue to keep you warm, even when wet. All of this is bound together with a proprietary Sewn-Through construction, which maximises heat-retention and effectively blocks out wind. As for the details, they’re just as shrewd. There’s a dual-axial hood to keep your peripheral vision clear, articulated arms for freedom of movement, Alpine cuffs to keep out snow and of course, high-set pockets so you can still wear your harness.
