Returns & Refund Policy

 

Any unsuitable items can be returned for a refund within 30 days.

Unsuitable items must be returned in the same condition that you received them in, unworn or unused, with any tags attached, and in any original packaging.

We will fully process your return within 14 days.

When you’re returning something we always recommend you use a tracked service as we are not responsible for anything lost in the post.

And always include the Returns Form or something else with your order number and contact details so we know who you are.

Order Mistakes & Faulty Items

Was there a mistake with your order? Did something arrive damaged? Email us at orders@montbell.co.uk so we can sort this out.

Has something you’ve bought from us developed a fault? Email us at help@montbell.co.uk so we can decide the best next step.

And don’t worry, if we ask you to send something back to us it won’t cost you anything.

 

 

Purchases From The Keswick Shop

If you bought something from the Montbell UK shop in Keswick and need to return it, it needs to be returned to the shop. If you cannot get there in person then you can post it back to the shop:

As usual, we recommend you use a tracked service and make sure you include something in the parcel with your order number and contact details so we know who you are.

If you paid by card we can issue your refund remotely once we’ve received your returned items. If you are returning something that you paid for with cash, for obvious reasons we cannot issue a cash refund by post. When we receive your return we will contact you to arrange the refund.

Purchases From Somewhere Else

We only accept returns of clothing and equipment ordered from the Montbell UK website, or bought in our Keswick shop. If you bought your clothing or equipment from somewhere else you should always contact them if you want to return something or need help. Under UK consumer law they should look after you and sort out any problems.

 

 

Exchanges

We don’t offer exchanges for unsuitable items. Instead, just return the unwanted original item for a refund and then make a new order for the replacement.

 

 

Refunds

If we’re sending you a refund you’ll receive a confirmation email when it has been processed on our side. This could be up to 24 hours after we have initiated the refund.

However, banks and payment providers can take several working days to process a refund after we have submitted it to them. Some refunds happen instantly, others can take over a week. Unfortunately this is not something we can control and we appreciate your patience.

If you haven’t received your refund 10 days after you’ve received your refund confirmation please contact us at help@montbell.co.uk so we can investigate.

Refunds will always be automatically paid back to the original payment method.
