Another commemorative item to celebrate Montbell’s 50th anniversary and faithfully reproduced to the original design (with a few key upgrades), the Roche Trainer 50th is a performance midlayer with vintage flair. That update we mentioned comes in the form of the fabric, which is Climaplus 100, a brushed fleece that will keep your temperature regulated, but isn’t so thick you’ll overheat when you’re wearing an insulated jacket. In keeping with the original design, there’s double-layer quilting on the shoulders and elbows for enhanced durability and two large hand pockets.
